About Old Style Bar-B-Q

Rick and Carla Owners of Old Style Bar-B-QOn November 1, 1976, Rick and Carla Dlugach opened the first franchise restaurant in Olive Branch, Coleman’s Bar-B-Q. Their business was one of 176 in the South’s largest Bar-B-Q chain. Eight years later, they changed the name to Old Style Bar-B-Q.

In 2001, Rick and Carla built a new building to accommodate the growing needs in the Olive Branch community. The new restaurant has a full service side, a fast-food side, a drive-through window, and a private room for 100 people.

The menu includes ribs, ½ BBQ chicken, Bar-B-Q pork shoulder, and other sandwiches. Sides include Bar-B-Q beans, coleslaw, potato salad, mixed vegetables, fries, turnip greens, baked potato salad, and green salad at an extra charge.

Old Style Bar-B-Q has been voted best Bar-B-Q in DeSoto County for eight of the past ten years.

Located at 8920 Expressway Drive, near the intersection of Hwy 78 and Hwy 305, their hours are: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
